Welcome to the Centrium!
Designed by architects Nowotny and Mähner in 1968, the Hattersheim Town Hall is considered an architectural masterpiece. Inspired by the ideas of Bruno Taut and Walter Gropius, the building impresses with its concentric spatial design, which offers flexible usage options.
The central rotunda with its floating ceiling construction and the high-oval mosaic by artist Gerhard Matzat is a particular highlight. The State Office for the Preservation of Monuments has awarded the town hall the status of a cultural monument due to its high architectural-historical and architectural-artistic value.
